Zion Endowment Zion Lutheran Church Endowment Committee
The Zion Endowment Committee is receiving requests for funding now though May 4, 2011 at 3:00 pm. Applicants need to complete the required request form this year which is available at the church office, the Loudonville Library or online at www.zionfamily.org
The Zion Endowment Fund is a means whereby the ministry of the congregation can effectively witness to the love of God for those in the community and beyond. The fund is made possible by the generous bequest and gifts of those who wish to share their blessings with the church. Income generated by the Zion endowment Fund provides ongoing support for church-related activities, programs and secular causes which reflect the Lord’s love for mankind and to share our rich blessings by making grants to support the outreach ministry of Zion.
The Bylaws of the Zion Endowment Fund provides for granting requests in four areas:
1. Requests related directly to the Christian outreach ministry of Zion Lutheran Church
2. Requests related to non-church programs (such as Habitat for Humanity, Helping Hand, etc.) which would witness to God’s message of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
3. Requests related to donations of a personal nature.
4. Requests involving monetary gifts, purchase of property, construction, equipment, or any additions to the physical assets of Zion Lutheran Church of Loudonville
