Comments: Hello Zion family, This is Josh Ruther, you know Pastor Terry's son. Anyway, I just got back from my trip with Deb and the coolest thing happened, I met a guy that runs an orphanage in East Africa. He and his wife have been married for over 30 yrs and like I just said he and his wife have an orphanage of 600 children, they are looking for help on getting their orphanage in order. They are needing more support from the Christian family and so he and I were talking for a little while and he asked if I could help in anyway possible. I had told him what good Christians we are and since we have done missions trips before, if we could some how help this family out. Then we need to think how it could be possible. I seriously think we should give this some hard thought. In fact I would like for us to give real hard consideration on this subject, cuz if we wasn't too, what would Jesus say to us...would he say good job, well and faithful servant or would he say anything at all. This family also has 6 kids of their own. Their names are Paul and molly Wassau. For more details ask me for there website if interested. Sincerely yours, Joshua Aaron Ruther thank you and god bless |

Comments: Nov.4, 2003 P.T. and Company, Thanks for the uplifting radio programming. I especially enjoy the "Happy Hour" of bluegrass music from 5:00 until 6:00 every evening. It's a great way to re-energize after a long workday. Thanks, Michael, for the uplifting hour. A special thanks to all of the readers and announcers who have volunteered their time to make WZLP 95.7 happen in our community. You're great! Lorri Ramey |

Comments: Hey Papa! Got the e-mail. Gumbas forever! The trip to Rocky Boy has over 100 names and so we created a reserve list. If someone decides they are not able to go, then we will take the names and add them to the trip as we are able. I have to say it is a great problem to have with this much enthusiasm. We already have 7 who are on stand-by. The footers for the tower are in and it looks like we will be erecting the WZLP tower at the end of March. A big thanks goes out to Maggie and Mike, Darrell, the wood cutters club, and the committee for their continued support of this new ministry. We are in the process of buying a satellite system that will hook us up with the GE 3 satellite system run by the Christian Broadcast Consortium. That means we will have access to Moody Broadcasting, Salem Radio Network, and other broadcast systems to fill in our daily schedule. The Lord has truly blessed us. I want to thank you for your work on the Web site. It is super! God bless you and your family (current and yet to come! :). You can't have too many Italian Lutherans in the church...they are a major "Holy hug" source! Blessings and Love, PT |

Comments: March 3, 2003 Zion Family, What a wonderful walk with the Zion Family through your Web Site. It was great to revisit our friends at Rock Point and McDowell, and I absolutely loved the Mimes of the Light photos. I can't wait to see Pastor Don's Mime workshop next week. I know that all of us, kids and parents, will love it! How about some 8:00 a.m. Praise and Prayer Service pictures? We usually look almost awake, and praising God in the A.M. is worth the early alarm clock. Everyone at Zion has a special witness, musical ability, reading, or dramatic interpretation to share, with the joy of God ever present. I always look forward to our special family sharing, praise, and prayer time at the 8:00 service. I'll look forward to checking in on your Web Site, as well. God Bless You in Your Computer-world Witness, Lorri Ramey |

Comments: Hey Mike!!! The two of you sounded great yesterday! When I was asked to explain the style of music that we use at the 8:00 a.m. worship, I told them it was a Contemporary Blue Graspel. Neat huh! Hope Sandy is doing well! Thanks toMikey for helping me with communion and for Alex just being Alex! The poster is up for the RockyBoy trip. It went up during the second service and we already have 17 names on it. Not too shabby. Blessings and love to you all!! Keep up the good work! PT |

Comments: Hey Mike!!! How about that 8:00 a.m. prayer and praise service. WOW! It is great to have your banjo there and soon I will have enough experience to plunk on the bass. We will rock the house with Gospel and Bluegrass!! The Mime pictures are awesome, especially the one of Pastor Don. Wasn't it great to see him laugh like that. God bless him, and all the Italian Lutherans in the Nashville Mission field!! In love to you all! PT |

Comments: Hey Mike!! Just got off the phone with Pastor Ruth at Our Savior Lutheran Church on the ROCKY BOY INDIAN RESERVATION. We talked for quite awhile about need and what we could do to help them on our servant trip there in 2004. It is really exciting, just as all of our trips have been. Thank you and all who helped to get the pictures from McDowell on the web site. Katie promises to send pictures of the new refrigerator we bought for her and the kids once she has it! :) So the new word is Atlanta in 2003 for the youth, and Rocky Boy in 2004! What a great time to be the church! Blessings and love to all the Italian Lutherans in the Nashville area! PT |

Comments: My boyfriend and i had such a moving experience when we visited your church on August 11, 2002. We felt so welcomed by a few of your parishoners at coffee hour. What we enjoyed the most is that your pastor and wife took a few hours of their time to talk to us about the leadership structure of your church and answered the many questions that we asked. Thanks so much! We are looking forward to visting again. God bless! |

Comments: Nice web site. Signed on to e-mail newsletter info about mother's (Mabel Thomas) 100th birthday on September 8. Perhaps the card shower and open house could be listed as an event later. FYI, I was a member of Zion from 1947 to about 1957. Some may remember me as a fifth-grade teacher from 1951-1955. |

Comments: Hi Mike~ Thanks for putting the McDowell pictures on the web. It will give people an opportunity to see the devestation and the work cut out for us when we get there in August. If there are others out there who would like to be included in the servant trip, August 4~8th, give us a call or e-mail us at the church site. Thanks again, Mike for taking time to share the pictures and the mission. Blessings and love to you and the family, PT |

Comments: Hey Mike! Nice work on the web site! It is very user friendly (not that the other wasn't), but having the calendar first is great! That way if you can't catch any of the other action in the bulletin, they know what is going on at a glance! WOW! A new year and new faces for the Web and the Rainbow! Not too shabby! Just goes to show that when you ask a "Gumba" to do the job its always 150%! Love to Sandy, Alex, and Mikey, as well as the web maestro PT |
