As more log on, we will be able to serve those who might not otherwise be able to stay in touch with their church. So, God bless you for this special gift and tool for the Zion Family's ministry. I believe it is good enough to win some sort of web site award. Blessings to you and the kids. In love, PT

PT Ruther Loudonville, Ohio
Comments: Dear Mike, Can you believe it!?! We have 80 folks who have visited the site so far! WOW!! That is fantastic! When we hit 100 we will have to have a party!! I hope you enjoyed the picnic! Next year I think we should have all the Italians in the congregation cook for the family! The upside is that they would have a chance to taste all those great pasta dishes and sauces. The only downside I see is that they would be too full to carry off the Volleyball tourney. I think that this has become a wonderful way to communicate the Gospel and good news of Jesus to people who live far away, and those who are unable to come to worship. The graphics are great, and the information is always current. Those two things are what bring people back and make this a viable tool. It is also very evident that you have a great love for your church family and what they do. Thank you for using your talents this way! Give my best to Sandy and the kids. I still look forward to all the hugs on Sunday morning!! Blessings and love to you all!! PT

Royce Ruther Loudonville, Ohio
Comments: Mike! thanks again for this great looking "sign post"! I would like to thank all of the folks who worked so hard on my team to win the volleyball tourney at the picnic!!! They did a super job!...as did all of the teams. HOWEVER... P.T._ wait until next year! We will beat you then!!

Barbara Kostelnicek Dickinson, TX
Comments: Dear folks, It was a pleasant surprise to come across this website. Many of my relatives still live in Loudonville: (Ruth Roach, Marvin McGuire). Our Long ancestors (John Long married Catherine Zeiter) were one of the founding families of this church. Thanks for installing this site. I wish I could be there next Sunday (Oct. 25) for my cousin Ruth Roach's birthday celebration! But then, we'll be calling her to wish her well on that day. Many thanks to you for this website from Ruth's cousins,Barbara Kostelnicek and mother Margaret Fisher, both formerly of Ohio but now living in Texas.

Dave and Lois Roach Encinitas, CA
Comments: It was great being able to read Sunday's bulletin from Encinitas,Ca.
Looking forward to my visit on Oct.25,1998.

Comments:
Happy Birthday, Ruthie! Hope you have 80 MORE wonderful years! God bless you and your family! ;)

Susan Rogers Englewood, Ohio
Comments: Hello, This is a third attempt to leave a comment. It seems this morning technology is not my strong suite. Andi Arnholt suggested I "sign in". I was baptised at Zion in 1947 and am the daughter of Bernice (Russell) Wachtel. Your web site was super. I loved the snap shots of vbs. They triggered memories of scout meetings and Sunday School in the Zion basement. Does anyone remember the tables which became sand boxes when the tops were removed?

Steve Kick Loudonville, Ohio

PT Ruther Loudonville, Ohio
Comments: The pictures are fantastic!! The one of Chris and Hank are priceless! It's not often that you have two baptisms on the same Sunday. They are special people. Also, the picture of the first float in the Christmas Parade is really neat! Did Maggie actually get 45 people on that wagon!?! Next year we head to Pasidena(Sp?). I know that it was frustrating trying to keep things on line during all the snow and bad weather, but it is great to see the bulletin on the web again! Didn't Linda McFarlin do a great job drawing the front door!?!

Maggie Ott Perrysville, Ohio
Comments: Good Website!

My "castle church door" is where I put all things that have a special effect on my life. So check it out and see who the family is that sent me such a great valentine's day card.
Blessings and love to all my pisans and gumbas!!!!!!!!!

Comments: I searched the ELCA site for any Lutheran church that had an e-mail address that was near Fredricksburg, OH. I'm hoping you can help me. I understand that there is a public Amish Deaf School in Fredricksburg, OH. My cousin who is 15 is studying deafness in different cultures and would like some information on the Amish deaf community. Can you help me out at all. Any information would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Jan Mills, DCE

Comments: Hey Mike!!!

It looks like the list of those checking out the site is growing. What a tribute to you and your good work. It is amazing to see people dropping in from all over the country.
I noticed some old Agape Singers are even checking us out. I hope that they will drop us a line so that we can be in contact.
Thanks again for all your work, and good luck in your new web site venture.

Mike-
Boy! This page is great! I love reading notes from the "kids" we had in the Agape Singers (Trinity, Richmond, Michigan 1973-1980)! The folks who are relatives and long lost friends who can talk to folks here seem to be enjoying it, too! What a way to use computers to connect! Thank you!

Roger Roach Grove City, PA
Comments: As always, I enjoyed worshiping with you on August 22nd. It is always heart warming to recall memories of the church in which I grew up, and to receive warm greetings from those of you who remember our famiy. It was especially fortunate that my visit coincided with that of Miss Ohio 1998, Kelly Creager. What a wonderful testimony! She has an exceptional platform from which to witness to her faith, and many, souls will be blessed by way of her effort. The special music was inspiring, also. Keep up your faithful work in response to Christ's redemptive Love, and God's unending Grace.

PT RUTHER LOUDONVILLE, Ohio
Comments: Well, Mike, the new church year is off with a bang. Looks like Sandy is going to have a boat load of kids in the class she's teaching. Over 42 kids attended the Pre-School Round-up on the 29th!! WOW!!
Rally Day is coming on September 12th and we took a line right from a major movie...our theme is THE ZION FAMILY...WE HAVE THE RIGHT S.T.U.F.F. The last word...S.T.U.F.F. stands for Spirit, Truth, Understanding, Faith and Fellowship. It's going to be a good year, and this site will be like the field reporter, covering all the action. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! for all the good work you do for your church family in helping us "get the word out"!

Blessings and love to you, Sandy and the munchkins,
PT
